This interactive workshop introduces middle and early high school students to key current events shaping the world around them. Through guided discussions and activities, students develop critical thinking skills, engage with diverse perspectives, and strengthen their ability to analyze global issues.
Workshop Structure:
Pre-Workshop Reading: Students receive curated reading materials in advance to familiarize themselves with key topics.
Discussion & Debate: The workshop includes mentor-led information sessions and, student-led discussions on significant world events.
Knowledge Reinforcement: The session concludes with an online quiz designed to reinforce key concepts, encourage reflection on multiple viewpoints, and solidify learning.
This workshop fosters global awareness, analytical thinking, and the confidence to engage in meaningful conversations about the world.
